When you become a client with Hern Photography, you can expect friendly communication, a wealth of expertise and insight, a compassionate and cheerful attitude, promptness, and creative engagement, all throughout the customer journey. Below is a breakdown of our client experience and the journey you'll find yourself on when you choose Hern Photography.
1. Inquiring:
You've found out about Hern Photography, and now you're obsessed. The first part of any journey starts with filling out an inquiry form. In this form, you'll be asked your and your fiance's name, wedding date, and the venue you have scheduled. Then, you'll be prompted to book a consult call with me, leading us to the next part of the client experience...
2. We Connect:
In a world where we are so virtual, I feel connecting with each couple over a video chat is important. This allows me to better understand you two as a couple and see if we are the right fit for each other. In this call, we will go over a few questions. I'll walk you through my typical process with some examples of my work and wrap up by curating the pricing package that is best suited for your day. This is also a great time to ask me any questions you may have in your wedding planning process - I am an open book!
3. Make it Official:
Once you've decided on the package you'd like to go with, we'll officially define it in a contract to be signed by both parties. In addition, a retainer fee will need to be paid to officially book your wedding date from my calendar. My operating system offers payment plans, so the rest of your payment will be parsed out based on the payment dates we agreed to beforehand. Now that the contract is signed and the retainer paid, we can have fun with the planning!
4. Engagement Session:
If your package included an engagement session (or a pre-wedding session like bridal portraits or boudoir portraits) then our next step is to start the vision for the session. I'm available through text for this planning and love the inspo boards. I'll provide my expertise on locations that would be best suited for your session and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
During the engagement session, this is a perfect time for us to get to know each other better. I'll help you rock your posing to where it feels natural and learn the poses that work best for you so we'll be prepared and ready to breeze through the Bride and Groom portraits on your wedding day.
Post processing, you'll receive your photos within 1-2 weeks from your session date in which we'll plan an album viewing call or you'll receive a link.
5. Wedding Day
We will stay in communication leading up to your wedding day. Specifically, you'll be sent a questionnaire prior to your wedding that addresses events within the timeline and important aspects like a family photo list or special events you want captured. I prepare and bring the information from your questionnaire to your wedding day execution so that no beat is missed!
You've been planning and counting down the days to your big day, so take a breath, relax, and prepare to soak it all in. Trust that I got you, and the rest will play out beautifully!
6. Your Gallery
Get ready to relive your wedding day because within 1 to 5 days of your wedding, you'll receive a sneak peek gallery highlighting fun moments of your day! This large sneak peek gallery should hold you over for the turnaround of 6-12 weeks of your final gallery. All images in each gallery are available for download at no extra charge.
Once you've received your final gallery, we can continue working together to design your perfect wedding album print. If your package includes the Wedding Album print, you'll receive a custom-designed mock-up from me to approve. If any changes are needed, we'll make them and get that album ordered and sent to you to forever cherish on display!
