Lose the Stress on Details...
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and as a wedding photographer, I want to ensure everything goes smoothly. The details are one of the important parts of your wedding day album. For most people, they see cute shoes and accessories, but for the bride those shoes were probably found on a spur of the moment girls' trip where she stumbled across the PERFECT wedding shoes. Now, when she sees the highlights of her shoes in the details spread she is taken back to that memory of her girls' trip and all the fun she had. This is why I believe details hold their own moments that make up each person’s wedding day story.
Most of the detail shots I capture are candid and in the moment, but the first detail spread I do is very much planned and structured by both you and me. That’s what we are planning for in this article. When I arrive at the venue, you will likely be in your bridal suite getting ready. Before your look is complete, my mission is to take care of the detail spread. The detail spread shows off your invitations, rings, personal mementos, and other items. So having all your details in a box, ready to go, cuts my time gathering everything and lets you focus on staying in the moment. Planning your items beforehand and having them ready to go creates a stress-free experience for you on your wedding day!
There is no limit to the items you gather; and honestly, the more, the better! Here's a list of items to consider adding to your ready-to-go box:

When I have your items ready to go once I arrive, it allows for more creativity on your detailed spread and more variety of shots. It also allows me to make the most of my time, so I can get back quicker to capturing memorable shots of your getting ready time and get your items back to you for the getting ready portion.
Save this list and start thinking about what you’ll be bringing to your wedding day. Once you decide, put them in one box together so you’ll be ready to go!
